Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours per Week | $17 per Hour
We’re looking for a personable, confident Telemarketer to help our State Farm agency reconnect with people we’ve quoted in the past. This is an outbound-only role focused on starting conversations and gathering information for updated insurance quotes. You will not be responsible for answering incoming calls.
What You’ll Do
- Call previously quoted customers and prospects as they approach an upcoming renewal to see if they’re interested in an updated quote.
- Build rapport and create interest in having our team take another look at their insurance needs.
- Gather and update the information needed to complete a quote sheet.
- Pass completed quote sheets to a licensed sales team member, who will prepare, present, and close the quote.
- Accurately record call outcomes, prospect details, and follow-up dates.
Once fully trained, the goal for this role is approximately 45 qualified, completed quote sheets per month.
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence and a friendly, professional manner on the phone.
- Comfort spending most of your workday making outbound calls.
- Persistence, resilience, and the ability to hear “no” without becoming discouraged or pushy.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow a call process.
Insurance experience and a license are not required to start. We’ll train you on the script, systems, quote information, and what you can discuss while unlicensed. For someone interested in growing with the agency, there may be an opportunity to become licensed over time.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
